Located opposite the Astana International Hotel in the Business District, the Grand Aiser offers a good, economical alternative to business travellers who might not want to spend the kind of cash required at the Hyatt Regency just down the street on Satpaev.

This hotel is Turkish-run by a company that operates a number of other hotels in the city, including the Grand Eurasia Hotel (see Sleep). While not necessarily boutique in style, the Grand Aiser provides a cheap and cheerful option in a hotel market dominated by high-end business travel.

That said the Grand Aiser has a variety of clean and spacious rooms ranging from singles to junior suites and even apartments for longer-term stays. The apartments are kitted up with replica Baroque antiques, an en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi, a dining table for eight, and the final touch – faux leather upholstered furniture in the sitting room.
