Probably the newest hotel in Barcelona, Hotel AB Skipper is a fantastic example of a five star hotel combining all the magnificence one would expect of a deluxe hotel without the fuss.

Located in Port Olimpico, it’s a stone’s throw from another fabulous hotel hotspot, the Hotel Arts. Opened in October 2006, it has everything one wants in a beach hotel without the tackiness of an ocean-front resort; a solar powered gym, heated swimming pool and bar are being built on the rooftop (due for completion in the summer of 2007,) waterside rooms offer spectacular views of the Mediterranean and two restaurants (both open to the public) complete a really spectacular location.

Decorated in colours typical to the region: wood combined with bright reds, oranges and yellows creates a chic, modern yet comfortable atmosphere and the rooms are truly luxurious. No matter what type of room you book, all have very best in digital technology and every room is soundproof so, even if you have views of the main road, you’ll experience nothing but calm and tranquillity.
