Part of the growing wave of new, fresh, modern hotels in Barcelona, the Hotel Pulitzer is a charming, comfortable and very chic option, in a fantastically central location with terraces over-looking Placa de Catalunya. Even if you don’t stay at Hotel Pulitzer I would highly recommend popping in for a drink; the library, bar and outdoor areas are beautiful and a spectacular place for food.

Due to lack of planning permission (and lack of desire to) change the original windows, the rooms are quite narrow but very long which is typical of architecture across this city.

The use of space is fantastic though and the main suite is stunning with beautiful outdoor decking and sun loungers, state of the art technology and a spectacular spa bathroom. While space is limited and there isn’t enough room for a major pool, gym, and spa area within the hotel itself, all guests have free access to a Holmes Place fitness centre, located only moments away from Hotel Pulitzer. I would say this is one of the newest and best kept secrets in Barcelona; it’s not a family-oriented hotel so if privacy, comfort and luxury are what you’re after, this is the perfect resting place.
