There are three modern hotels with a boutique feel to them in the centre of town: our favourite, the Esplendor, the funky 725 Continental, and now 725’s sister hotel, the 562 Nogaro.
While not as slick as the other two and lacking somewhat in facilities (no bedside Jacuzzis or rooftop pool) the 562 Nogaro ‘does the job’. The refurbished four star hotel, re-opened in late 2006, is located just a couple of blocks from Plaza de Mayo, the focal point around which Buenos Aires was built.
