It’s the former residence of the Marquis of Santo Mauro and is located in a quiet, leafy street in the wealthy Chamberi district where the Spanish nobility once lived. There are only 51 bedrooms, which is surprising considering the vastness of the lobby and public areas. The small number of guests makes the hotel particularly intimate and exclusive, which no doubt appealed to David and Victoria.
