This traditional three-star hotel is clean and compact and has a great central location. However, it is surrounded by the bars and nightclubs on Echegaray so it’s not for someone looking to escape the crowds. Avoid rooms overlooking the street since they can be noisy, particularly at the weekends.
The hotel is family-run and only has 58 rooms, so it has an intimate, personal feel. Its public rooms are cheery and sunny and, considering the hotel dates back 150 years, its decoration has been very well maintained. The buffet breakfast is excellent value at only 5 euros.
