Review
Like many of the wonderful riads in the Medina, the warm welcome at P’tit Habibi is in direct contrast to the journey there. Tucked away in the North Medina, wind though small, dusty streets, passing a whirl of stalls, donkeys and a passers-by, before stepping though the small dark doorway into a little piece of paradise.
One of the newest additions to the riad scene, P’tit Habibi was opened in October 2006 by owners Marianne Gehrken & Knut Hovland. Small, discreet and stylish, this charming riad has the feel of a beautifully designed private house. Staff will go to great lengths to satisfy any request, from breakfast in the courtyard, to a glass of wine on the roof terrace, dinner in the biblioteque or an outdoor cinema screening.
The 4 double bedrooms are all individually decorated in a fusion of Moroccan style with modern design; choose from the black and white Wangarata suite, the Love Nest with its large double bed, the balconied White Room or the colourful Peruche.
