This is a beautifully designed riad in a central location. The manager, Cyril, is exceptionally friendly and will do everything in his power to help you to enjoy your stay – to such an extent that he walked us to dinner in case we got lost on the way!
There are seven individually designed suites and bedrooms, all of which have a comfortable homely feel. The suites in particular are large for the medina and incredibly good value. The riad is decorated in a contemporary fashion with traditional Moroccan influences such as intricately carved wooden tables and doors and tadelakt bathrooms.
There is a small heated pool in the courtyard, framed by high ceilings, pillars and arches and a living room with a fire in winter. Meals are excellent and can be taken anywhere in the riad.
What really makes this riad stand out is the friendliness of the staff, who really try to do all that they can to cater for your every wish.
Please note - because this riad is very small and very popular, they require a 4 night stay (particularly at weekends)
Hg2 offer
Book a 4 night stay at the lovely Riad l'Orangeraie and they will arrange a free dinner for you in the riad - all you need to do is choose between dining on the roof terrace or in the courtyard.
The riad should be aware that you have booked through Hg2, but please also mention this to staff when you arrive.
