Review
This newly renovated riad is the brainchild of New York interior designer and photographer Thomas Hays, whose works are displayed throughout.
It is beautifully designed and mixes traditional Moroccan techniques such as tadelakt with striking pieces of contemporary African art. The lighting is incredibly well done and adds to the romance of the building. Dinner can be served in the courtyard or on the roof terrace, as can breakfast – which was a little disappointing considering the general standard of the riad.
What makes this riad truly special is the staff, who do their utmost to help guests enjoy Marrakech. A Moroccan couple are always on-site and will cater to your every whim (day or night) - which includes leading guests to dinner and coming to pick them up at the end of the evening. There is also an English manager, Cyrus, who is available to guests at all times to provide recommendations and help to organise tailor made day trips.
A centrally located, stylish riad that is perfect for people with limited time in Marrakech - youi will be looked after and instantly made to feel at home.
