This newly opened riad has instantly become one of the most fashionable places to stay in Marrakech.
Riad Noir D’Ivoire has been beautifully designed by the interior designer owner Jill, who has thought of everything to make her guests’ stays perfect.
There are currently seven huge suites (including one which is 100-m2 with its own 50-metre private terrace) and two large bedrooms, together with a gym and large swimming pool. Most rooms have fireplaces and their own terrace with jacuzzi.
There is a plunge pool in the courtyard, next to which is the bar area where drinks and dinner are served with the accompaniment of a piano player and a traditional band on a few evenings a week. This is candlelit at night and is ultra romantic. There is also an in-house hammam, a boutique that sells cutting edge designer items and a large roof terrace. All food served is fantastic, as are the cocktails. Jill’s aim is to have the most comprehensive wine list in Marrakech and there is now a wine cellar in the riad.
