Conrad Hotel

1395 Brickell Avenue, Downtown

Conrad Hotel

The Conrad hotel's interior matches the building’s grand exterior. This is a smart hotel, designed for bolshy, demanding businessmen and the occasional celebrity in denial. The good news is that the Conrad is capable of making anyone smile. Just look at the views, enjoy the gadgets, and wake up to a CNN breakfast in your metal and glass skyscraper.

Review

The Espirito Santo Plaza building that houses the Conrad Hotel is unquestionably the sexiest of all buildings in the Downtown area. The 36-storey structure is built of concave glass and has an 11-floor atrium on the 25th floor that contains the Conrad’s lobby, restaurant and lounge.

The Conrad is the luxury brand of the Hilton chain and has 203 rooms and 103 serviced residences. The rooms are decorated with contrasting elements of glass, wood, leather and metal, matching the building’s style, and include remote-control lighting, a pillow menu and a whole host of gadgets.

The hotel has its own spa, but most importantly has the nOir Bar beside the Sky Lobby that offers the best views of Biscayne Bay. If the nOir Bar gets quiet, use one of the telescopes in the lobby to see whether the Bahia Bar beside the Four Seasons’ pool area is full.
