Enterprise Hotel

Newer, more central hotels have diverted attention from this innovative design hotel, but there's a lot to like in the linear styling of its 109 rooms. A great options if you're heading to La Fiera...

Hailed when it first opened in spring 2002 as an innovative design hotel, the Enterprise, built in an old 1930s radio factory, has sadly been pushed aside by new, more central hotels on the block. Now business bores and furniture aficionados are enjoying its mezzo positioning close to La Fiera.

Agreeably linear (and peaceful), the four-star Enterprise is warmed up with chinoiserie: the lobby is a tall, functional space in cream marble and mahogany with a neat series of cosy zones with oriental antiques. Its striking Privé Bar (not really private, just intimate) is like a Buddhist shrine with a gold leaf dome, a green onyx backlit bar and 18th-century Asian antiques; the contemporary Sophia’s Restaurant comes highly recommended.

Its 109 rooms are what you’d expect of a minimalist design hotel, with pared down modern styling, giant suede headboards and shimmering Bizassa mosaic bathrooms. All are furnished with premium brands Flos and Cassina, gratifying for Fiera-bound interioristas.
