This luxurious five-star hotel is the most popular in the capital, perfectly located between the fashionable Kuznetsky Most area and the historical Kitai Gorod. A fine example of modern Moscow, it seamlessly blends the old and the new, the traditional and the ultra-contemporary.
The marbled pillars and grand exterior do not quite prepare you for the very modern atrium, with its dark wooden reception, steel and glass elevators and the all-important ‘feng-shui’ water around the lobby bar. The 220 rooms are spacious and comfortably decorated in a minimalist style.
ThCafÈ Ararat, named after the original cafÈ that occupied the site in the 1960s, offers you the chance to sample authentic Armenian cuisine. Some of the best views of Moscow can be enjoyed from the spectacular Conservatory Lounge Bar on the 10th floor, while the Sunday brunch in The Gallery is legendary.
