Located in the heart of downtown Moscow, close to the Bolshoi and premier shopping facilities of the Petrovsky passage, this five-star hotel is, as one would expect from a Marriott, luxurious, boasting Western efficiency and service.
Opened in 1999, the Royal Aurora has individual butler service for each and every guest – a unique experience in Moscow. Although it’s a new building, it has an Art Nouveau exterior designed to look like a fairytale palace. It appears at its most opulent and expensive lit up at night, and is particularly stunning in the snow.
The rooms are clean, simple and very corporate but comfortable. The Polo Club steak restaurant has become very popular with its open-to-view kitchen, where the finest imported American steaks are prepared under the tutelage of chef Michael Boehnke.
