Decidedly futuristic hotel in the Prague scheme of things, Andels' modern design has really helped to regenerate Smichov. The only downside is the hotel is just a little too far from the centre to walk all the sights, although the metro and tram links are good, and taxis can be relatively inexpensive.

There's not a great deal to find near here - Andels is set in part business centre and part commercial centre in the district of Smichov, out to the south west of the main centre of Prague. There is no doubt Smichov is up and coming but as yet, for the visitor to Prague, there is not a great deal to do. Instead catch the metro into the centre of town, or jump in a taxi, which will take five minutes to Charles Bridge and about 10 to the Old Town Square.
