Hotel General is a lavish boutique hotel refurbished in 2007, featuring rooms named after generals, from Nelson and Hannibal to Bohemia’s own Wallenstein, and is located in the gentrified area around Anděl.
As a historical building, the rooms are small, but come with all mod cons as well as LCD TV with over 700 free channels, a safe (with laptop space and re-charge ability), a choice of linens and bedding, plus free internet. A laptop is complimentary for guests while general suites feature a computer plus Bulgari toiletries in addition to the standard Sutton Foster. Hydromassage rainfall showers and bathtubs will ease any business or tourism aches while the wine cellar provides an excellent selection of Moravian, European and New World wines.
