Virtually the only hotel in the SoNa neighbourhood, the Elite is a modern take on Prague's traditional design and architecture. The subtle blend of the new and the antique is discreetly apparent throughout the hotel from the lobby to the bathrooms. Comfortable and quiet with a lively little bar/grill, it's one of our favourite hotels.

Set in the heart of the New Town, just a 100 yards from the busy street Narodni, and a five minute walk to Wenceslas Square. This area has been up and coming for the past three years, and although not a great deal has changed the local residents have become more fashionable, younger and more affluent.
There are several low-key but smart bars in the neighbourhood drawing in more of a student crowd. The historic Old Town is a couple of hundred yards away, where the streets are packed with a tourist throng - this side of the tracks everything is just a little quieter and those seeking solace from the mainstream can finally relax.
