The Four Seasons is of predictably high quality, everything from its situation, to the architecture, the facilities, the food and the service are all of the highest possible calibre and make for a wonderful stay, yet, as is often the case, uniqueness is unfortunatley missing.

Located on the river bank, hence the problems with flooding in 2002, the Four Seasons has one of the most picturesque spots in town. Views over the bridge, rising towards the castle are fabulous, while the hotel's discreet facade is almost indiscernible from the other buildings along the riverbank. To walk to the distant castle would take about 15 minutes through the winding, steep streets of Mala Strana and in the other direction the Old Town Square is less than a 10 minute stroll. The area is a strange mixture of the up and coming and the rather tacky tourist trade Prague has become so associated with.
