The Intercontinental sits in a commanding position at the top of glamorous shopping street Parizska, looking down on the stylish, designer boutiques and elegant restaurants, frequented by statuesque Czech beauties with impossibly long legs. Josefov, the Jewish quarter, is Prague's most affluent district and home to hudreds of years of Jewish history encapsulated in the multitude of synagogues and the beautifully dishevelled graveyard. There are some great restaurants, cafes and bars just a short walk from the hotel; the Old Town Square, Prague's tourist hub, is about 7 minutes away and the Charles Bridge just over 10 minutes.
