K+K bases itself around a central tenet of simplicity and comfort. This manifests itself through the spacious lobby, the near monotone room schemes and the almost Puritan attention to functionality. Although those puritans might be slightly offended by the burgeoning trade in the sins of the flesh outside.

Not really for the faint of heart the Fenix is located up a side street off Wenceslas Square, unfortunately up most of these side streets are located various 'nightclubs'; we'd call then 'knocking shops', but what's a word between friends. As seedy as it sounds, it isn't known to be threatening, more slightly tiresome as street touts try and entice you in with flyers and brightly coloured T-shirts.
Beyond theses side streets is the consumerist monstrosity that is the Square, lined with faceless department store-style buildings selling anything from electonics to books. However, it is central and a reasonably short walk from both the Old Town Square, the Charles Bridge and the various hip little bars in Nove Mesto.
