Situtated on the busy Nerudova, part of the Royal Way winding from Namesti Republiky through the Old Town over the Charles Bridge and up to the Castle. The Neruda is a diamond in the magpie's nest of tourist orientated tack that flanks the remainder of the route. Although there are a few excellent restaurants and cosy bars in this part of town they need to be carefully sought out to avoid 'authentic' eateries plying unnecessarily bad food to the masses.
