The wonderfully resplendent Art Nouveau Municipal House in Namesti Republiky is just around the corner, as is the gothic majesty of the Powder Tower, which signals the beginning of the Royal Way. The Pariz is on the edge of the Old Town and the picturesque cobbled streets that lead to the Disnyesque Old Town Square and the tourist hordes. Apart from the Belle Epoque clad figures touting concerts in the Municipal House it is possible to detach yourself from the masses and wander the quieter back streets to seek out a great little restaurant.
