Perla is a four star design hotel constructed in 2007 in the historic centre of Prague and has already won the Manager of the Year award from the Czech Hotel and Restaurant Association.
Rooms are small but contain all you need for a short stay and a comfortable night. Natural light, orthopaedic beds, free dataport in each room and flat screen satellite TV contrast against black and chrome bathrooms with Yves Rocher lotions to provide a pleasing combination. Drinks and snack vending machines take the place of the minibar, and in addition to an elegant breakfast room, leisure amenities include a small but well equipped gym, massage room and sauna.
The pearl theme runs through the vaguely oriental design (from Prague uber-studio Mimolimit) of the hotel as you’ll see from the unusual front desk. The Perla is within walking distance of many of Prague’s sights and while the road outside can be noisy; the hotel is closeted from the mayhem.
