Nosticova is set in a small residential side street in Mala Strana (the Lesser Quarter) out of the way of the tourist tide, instead set in the more grandiose embassy district. The river is a mere 100 yards away on which sits the beautifully simple Kampa Museum with its Czech and Central European modern art exhibitions, and the wonderful riverbank cafe inside. The Royal Way and all the tack it brings with it is a mere five minutes on foot, and from there access to both the Old Town and the Castle is straightforward. The hotel's position affords the building and the guests an exclusive initmacy.
