Close to its stylish companion the Neruda, the Golden Wheel is a seamless blend of the old and the new. Sophisticatedly simple modern furnishings sit under painted ceilings and quadripartite vaults. Supposedly boutique in style, the small number of rooms gives intimate connotations, however those expecting a true boutique style are likely to be a little disappointed.

Located on steep Nerudova, part of the Royal Way rising steeply towards the Castle from the Charles Bridge, the Golden Wheel is in the heart of tourist Prague. Morning, noon and night groups of tourists in jester hats noisily climb the route to the Castle and back again. Having said that, just a short walk away are several of the Kampa Groups fine restaurants - Cihelna, Kampa Park, Cowboys and the Square - as well as wonderful more unique choices. For those in the mood for culture, you've come to the right place - just remember some sturdy shoes to tackle that hill.
