Of the two J hotels (see previous), the Sealodge is the less talked about, but it’s just as luxurious and deserves similar rave reviews. It’s situated further out of the city, but the hour’s boat ride through the archipelago to Lindingö Island is a pleasure, and it’s only 15 minutes to Stureplan by car, so convenient if you are in a hurry.
The benefit of this hotel, however, is partly its isolation. With views over the sea stretching for miles, enjoy the fresh air and solitude from the comfort of deckchairs on your balcony. Inside, rooms are kitted out with deep armchairs and thick blankets in nautical colours. Simple luxury is what it is all about – clean living with all the creature comforts.
