The main advantage of this 45-room hotel, which is part of a group of Swedish and Danish properties, is its location.  Yes, it has understated but tasteful décor and, yes, the staff are friendly, but its main draw is its setting right in the heart of Östermalm.

Even the lack of a restaurant is almost a blessing. After all, why would you eat dinner here when you are just seconds away from dropping in to Riche (see Drink), PA and Co (see Eat), and Grodan (see Drink/Party). It's also an easy walk straight along the street to Riddarbageriet (see Snack) where you can buy the best bread in the city or grab a light lunch. The hotel does, however, have a cheerful red-lit bar in the centre of what serves as the breakfast room from 7am to 11am.
