Langholmen Hotel

The hotel makes no attempt to hides its past as a prison. In fact, it plays it up. The former exercise yard is now a cafe. Although it is a littlle removed from the centre, it's easy to catch a bus to the heart town.

What's Nearby

The hotel stands on Långholmen, a largely undeveloped island between Södermalm and Kungsholmen. In the summer, Stockholmers flock here to go swimming or have picnics, but it is less charming in the winter. The island has no shops or restaurants, but adjoining Södermalm has no shortage of either. From the hotel it is a half-hour walk to the cenre of town.
