The Nordic Light stands next to the Central Station, just steps from the Arlanda Express rail link that can take you from the city to the airport in just 20 minutes. Because of its proximity to the train, it's a haven for business travellers during the week but at the weekend leisure travellers move in.
The Nordic Light is one of the most stylish hotels in the city and, as its name suggests, light is the key element of the décor. Theatrical lighting is used to project colourful patterns onto the stark white walls. The bedrooms are compact but with wonderful beds, and the same light-on-white-walls theme makes them feel a bit more spacious.
While the hotel's immediate surroundings are fairly drab, the entrance to the subway is right outside the hotel so it's easy to reach Stockholm’s more interesting quarters. The hotel stands opposite its non-identical twin, the Nordic Sea.
