Essential romance
Paris and spring are as magical a combination as foie gras and brioche, vodka and caviar or champagne in a really decadent hotel room. Warm sunny days strolling along leafy boulevards, long lingering lunches of moules, oysters, steak tartare and chocolate fondant in a cosy bistro, indulgent shopping and evenings feasting in chic restaurants - what could be lovelier. Even if you can only escape for 24 hours, a quick trip to Paris is essential - whatever the stage of your romance.
