Beirut in Spring
Political situations in Lebanon permitting, Beirut is an excellent choice for a Spring weekend break.
We particularly recommend Lebanon's skiing resorts in April; Faraya resort is a mere 50-minute drive from Beirut and has good snow until May. Alternatively, the Mediterranean in Lebanon is warm enough to swim in from May until November; try La Voile Bleue Resort, where the rich and beautiful from the city flock, to sunbathe and enjoy cocktails in the beach bars, before heading back to Beirut to continue the party.
While winter months in Beirut can be rainy, Spring offers deliciously bright days and cool, dry evenings.
