Our favourite pub in London
The Pig's Ear is our new favourite pub in London. Found on Old Church Street, just off the King's Road, in Chelsea this relative newcomer (it opened in 2004) is exactly what a modern pub should be - great food, buzzing atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent drinks. Upstairs, on the first floor, is an intimate restaurant while downstairs, the bar, is home to a young, fun Chelsea crowd. The menu offers a modern take on old fashioned British food - from Samworth pork and Welsh lamb to bone marrow and deep fried pig's ear. Shortlisted by the Evening Standard for pub of the year the fresh and simple decor is a joy to sit and drink in, we just wish it actually was our local!
